During my stay as a family, we were drawn to the nearby attractions like Senado Square and the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady, both easily accessible within a short walk. I appreciated the comfortable beds in our Standard Twin Room, making it a good rest spot after a day of exploring. The hotel generously provided a heater, which was a nice touch given the chilly weather outside.

When arriving, the steep uphill path to the hotel is exhausting!!! Bus transport options are limited, so plan accordingly!!! The inability to open windows is annoying, as it traps unpleasant air conditioning odors!!!

well, the reception staff barely speak English, and it’s quite alarming how rude they were—definitely not what I expected. Also, the room had a strange smell that woudl ve been embarrassing to complain about. I expected at least a complimentary gift for my troubles but sure didn’t get one. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The hotel's location lets you easily walk to major attractions the housekeeping does a fantastic job at keeping the rooms pristine and fresh.

Our family enjoyed a refreshing change of pace at the Guia, where we could explore major attractions like the Ruins of St Paul's in just 15 minutes on foot. The modern, clean rooms and lovely atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home, and our pet felt right at ease too.

My wife says that the steep hill can be a bit challenging, especially with kids in tow. A shuttle service back from the main attractions would be a fantastic addition for families.

An unexpected room upgrade added a touch of luxury during our short stay, with a comfortable bed and a surprising bathtub. The city's skyline view from our window was stunning, and the nearby park offered breathtaking vistas. However, the room felt somewhat small for two, and noise from the street was noticeable. A lack of additional amenities in the area might make longer stays less ideal.

The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, and stop by the restaurant for splendid dim sum. The staff were incredibly friendly, even lending me an umbrella one rainy day.

The kettle in the room needed better maintenance.

The location is superb for exploring Macau on foot, overlooking the Guia Track with amazing views. The in-house Chinese restaurant serves delicious dim sum breakfast, and the rooftop terrace is a refreshing spot to relax after a day of sightseeing.
